June 2008 saw us take our first official Little Bangkok Sangha retreat, at the Comsaed Resort on the River Kwai
First stop, en route, was the Temple of Bhikkhuni Dhammananda, where we called in to pay respects and to make some offerings. And then on to Kanchanaburi, right on the River Kwai itself. The resort was beautiful. Pity it did not work out to go back there again.
We will be setting up several weekend or short term retreats every year from now on for mindfulness meditation and vipassana training.
