‘freestyle’ meditation Mondays

Everyone who meditates, or would like to, is invited to this weekly gathering. It’s purely ‘freestyle’ – it does not matter what lineage of meditation you come from. We gather, chat, sit silently, and head off home in under 2 hours.
There are no rituals, and nothing to bring other than friendliness. A few minutes very basic instruction will be offered for beginners – everyone else is welcome to continue with your own meditation form.
MEDITATION is tricky, even for experts. It really helps to get together with other people to sit meditation. Just the action of getting yourself out, braving the skytrain and sidewalks, is a statement to yourself that this quality is worth developing.
This is a ‘drop-in’ session. It is not quite a meditation class (see the website for courses and workshops). There is always an experienced meditation teacher leading the session, available for questions or advice privately afterwards.

| Meditaion is the new yoga. The benefits are well researched and talked about in mainstream media. But magazines don’t tell you that it is a tricky thing to do. It takes some effort and dedication to get a real meditation practise going. The benefits however, are quickly felt.
This is a nice way to get your meditation going, and to maintain it. Session is free of charge. Small donation to the center running costs is optional. |

The center is a 4 minute walk from Ekkamai BTS Station.
Enter Ekkamai (Sukhumvit Soi 63). Turn left into the second soi (lane). Bourbon street restaurant is on the corner. We’re next to Bourbon St. Restaurant, in a building signed ‘APARTMENTS’. See the excellent map:
