MEDITATION is tricky, even for experts. It really helps to get together with other people to sit meditation. Just the action of getting yourself out, braving the skytrain and sidewalks, is a statement to yourself that you would like to be a meditator.

Every Monday evening we hold a freestyle meditation event. There are no rituals to observe, other than to sit quietly and practise your meditation. Some basic instructions for beginners will be given in English.

Experienced meditators are welcome to practise in their own style.

This is a ‘drop-in’ session. It is not quite a meditation class (see the website for courses and workshops). There is always an experienced meditation teacher leading the session, available for questions or advice.

  • 7:30 group meditation
  • 8:15 finish


Meditaion is the new yoga. The benefits are well researched and talked about in mainstream media. But magazines don’t tell you that it is a tricky thing to do. It takes some effort and dedication to get a real meditation practise going. The benefits however, are quickly felt. 

This is a nice way to get your meditation going, and to maintain it.

Session is free of charge. Small donation to the center is optional.


‘APARTMENTS’ Meditation Centre

The center is a 4 minute walk from Ekkamai BTS Station.

Enter Ekkamai (Sukhumvit Soi 63). Turn left into the second soi (lane). Bourbon street restaurant is on the corner. We’re the third building on the right, in the ‘APARTMENTS‘ building. Go up to the top floor. See the excellent map – it is very precise!
