This months meditation session at Kathmandu Gallery has moved from the usual second Sunday of the month to Sunday 17th so that it does not clash with Vesak Celebrations.
Khun Morakot, a Thai lady fluent in English and experienced in meditation, will lead her monthly session at Kathmandu Gallery, Silom area. She has experience in a number of meditation lineages, and especially the use of meditation (or just counselling) for cancer patients in the hospitals.
The room only fits about 10 to 12 people so you must book your place in advance by calling Kathmandu books on 02 234 6700 . Please do not book if you are not certain of attending – . For other events, it is handy to know if you intend to go so we can book food/tables etc… but no biggie if you don’t make it. But in this case when you book a place others will be turned away. So only book if you are certain you will be there, thanks. If you booked but have to cancel for some reason, phone and cancel in case there are others who come later.
It is a charming setting and teacher so take advantage. There are 2 excellent Indian cafe/restaurants opposite that are inexpensive, and have very good food. Attendees usually go there after the meditation to have a yarn, just after midday when the session ends.
