Being Earnest, the importance of…
Buddhist monks and nuns undertake a lot of training in bringing mindfulness to all activities – until you can do this, you are only practising ‘Buddhist-lite’. It takes more than reading a few books or going on an occasional retreat. Ajahn Tiradhammo talks on some of the lessons that one learns with consistent application in 40 years as a Buddhist monk in the forest monasteries.

We are glad to announce that senior Canadian monk Ajahn Tiradhammo will be in Bangkok, and will give a public talk on Thursday 11th July 2013 at the beautiful new Aetas Hotel
Ajahn Tiradhammo gave a talks for us in 200, 2010 and 2013 which were very well received. He was a direct student of the great Luang Phor Chah back in 1975, just after he ordained as a monk. Later he moved to help with the new temples in the UK under Ajahn Sumedho, and then became abbot of the temple in Switzerland, where he lived for a long time. More recently he moved to become abbot of Bodhinyanarama Temple in New Zealand, before his current semi-retired role.
Ajahn Tiradhammo is a warm and cheerful Bhikkhu, and always an interesting speaker. Now ordained for nearly 40 years, he has lots of experience with all aspects of Buddhism. Newcomers will certainly find the talk easy to follow, and for experienced meditators … do not miss this chance.

The opportunity to listen to a dhamma talk by Aahn Amaro in BKK is a rare occasion. One not to be missed. I have been fortunate to be close to him for over 20 years, in California, England and Thailand. His teaching in the Ajahn Cha tradition has been a steady guidepost for me.
I am currently at home in San Francisco until Nov. We are starting construction on a house for ourselves in Ram Kham Haeng and look forward to greater participation with littlebang.
We look forward to having you here !
Very interesting indeed.
However, the intro in English and Thai are not the same.
If you can’t read Thai you miss out his brief bio.
Thank you for always bringing in inspiring talks.
