YBAT Weekend Vipassana meditation retreat conducted in English

A weekend Vipassana (Insight) Meditation retreat is being held by the Young Buddhists Association of Thailand together with The House of Dhamma from
17 – 19 July 2009
It runs from 5 pm Friday, July 17 to the late afternoon of Sunday, July 19.
The retreat provides instruction for beginners and is also suitable as a refresher for those with previous experience of Vipassana. Instruction will be in English, with some Thai translation as necessary.
It will be held at the Young Buddhists Association of Thailand’s custom-built meditation centre in Pathumthani, north of Bangkok, 20 mins past the old Don Meuang airport. The retreat is open to all English-speaking adults. It is not necessary to be a Buddhist to take part. Vegetarian food and single-room accommodation will be provided.
