many of you will know Rex – he is leaving Thailand to pursue a Masters in psychology and counselling. He has a charity leaving party on Saturday, which is helping a good cause. Information is as follows:

A FAREWELL…. AND A DAY FOR THE KIDS…..
The Mercy Center in Kong Toey, Bangkok kindly invites you to a social benefit event to mark the departure of Rex Burington.
The Kids of the Mercy Center are orphans, AIDS infected or otherwise socially stigmatized children who benefit …from generous community support. Father Joe runs the center and can use every bit of help we can offer.
Rex Burington has been an expat of Bangkok since the days of the Asian Economic Crisis some 14 years ago. He journeyed though enumerable lives here and is infinitely grateful to the Thai people, the city of Bangkok, cultural groups, community and friends for their contributions to his life. Rex is now due back in United States (San Francisco) to pursue a degree in “Integral Counseling Psychology” at the California Institute of Integral Studies. Although he is keen to make this move, he will miss Thailand immeasurably!

Monetary donations may be made one of the three ways noted below. In case of donation by method 2 or 3, please followup with an SMS or email to me indicating the date, the amount and the method used. Contributions in any amount are welcome. All money received will be used to benefit the children of the Mercy Center. Those who visit in person may also bring suplies for the kids. If you wish to do so, please contact myself or the Mercy center for details on currently needed items.
