Lama Yeshe Nyingpo

Ram – our resident Tibetan Buddhism follower, has sent out the following message. As time is too short to make proper announcments, biographies, maps etc, the message is given below as received:

*********

I would like to inform you that Lama Yeshe Nyingpo (a former monk and Vajra master from France) will be making an informal visit to Bangkok from next week on so I am organizing a small get together so we all can get to know him.

Venue: Ram’s place

Date:      Wednesday 8th December

Time:     starting at 4pm and will probably end at around 9-10pm, so feel free to drop by anytime

Also please forward this to those who might be interested as well. It’ll be helpful if you could inform me before hand so we can prepare enough snacks/food for everyone.

My place is on Naret rd. (a one way street), off of Sriphraya road. If you are coming by Sub-way (easiest) you can take the Samyan station exit in front of the temple then catch a Taxi or take a Motorbike Taxi (20 Baht) from there by telling them to go to Bangrak Police station you can just tell the taxi to come to the Bangrak police station if you are coming directly from elsewhere. Once at the station, my building is an old white building just before the station, come on the 12th floor on the right side and you’ll see a big door and I’ll be in there. If you see a lot of Africans in the building it means that you are in the right building.

Please feel free to call me 081-9855564 or email me if you have any questions : -) and feel free to invite others who might be interested as well.

  1. Dear Dharma Friends,

Yeshe Nyingpo is not Lama any longer and wasn´t ever vajra master. The comitee which became responsible for the Lama titles after the death of Lama Gendün Rinpoche deprived him this title. Shamar Rinpoche said “Yeshe shall not teach any more…” This because he did a couple of major errors in his former community and towards his diciples, which I would not like to precise now. If he would be clear about his mistakes and just teach meditation – there wouldn´t be anything wrong… I wish this will happen, from all my heart!

    Best wishes

    Gerd, former disciple of Yeshe

    1. You have a comitee for Lama titles. Interesting to hear this.
And why is it that the same comitee takes away the Lama Title from German members, which were first time given by Kunzig Sharmar Rinpoche and by Lama Gendün Rinpoche at the end of our retreat in Halscheid Germany? Did we do similar crime in the past like Lama Yeshe Nyingpo?

  2. We would like to warn you and ask to be careful with this “Lama Yeshe Nyingpo”.
Normally he has no rights to be called Lama anymore. Of course we don’t know the subject of his visit at your place. And we wish everything happens for you in the best way !

  3. As Gerd,Michael & Ira, it seems necessary to warn you against Jean-Louis Blanchet alias Yeshe Nyingpo. Under his charismatic appearance, this man was extremely unhealthy behaviors during many years in the Buddhist center in France where he passed himself off as a monk and Vajra master and whence he was expelled. I allowed myself to also post you this message because I find really unfortunate that there are other victims due to his manipulative side. Best regards.

  4. Thanks Cittamvaro! But who still invites Yeshe? He caused so much damage, so many people to suffer. And he promised to never use the title Lama again, nor to give spiritual teachings…
    Best regards
    Gerd

  5. I have very bad experience because of another ex –lama. And I went to this meeting with Lama Yoshe. May I ask you some questions? Can I contact some of you by e-mail?

  7. WARNING: after having been entrusted as a retreat master by late Gendun Rinpoche, Jean Louis Blanchet, ex-lama Yeshe Nyingpo, has been expelled from Kundrol Ling monastery after he admited repeated sexual abuse on female students. He has lost his credentials from the Karma Kagyu hierarchy and has been forbidden to teach as a lama under the Karma Kagyu banner.
Thus, he is a brilliant conman who knows how to impress his audience with buddhist knowledge in order to gain financial advantage and sexual favors from naive and often psychologicaly fragile female spiritual seekers. He is highly dangerous and very clever in the art of skipping questions and cover his true perverted nature behind a smart and peaceful mask.
I was one of his several humble students and I am still taking the buddhist teachings close to heart. That’s why I want to warn any serious buddhist follower to stay away from this confused and neurotic guru who seeks only his personal sake regardless to the suffering he spreads around him. Jean Louis Blanchet is a disgrace and an insult to the Buddhadharma and should be known as such.
There are evidences to all these claims. The buddhist center he was kicked out is Dhagpo Kaguy Ling in France. Check on your own.
PS: the topic of his present conference is an act of shameless scorn and sneer to all his victims.

  8. I could not stop laughing. To understand the intricate details or to understand full dharma as such, we need to look at all time lines and actions of people. Many who are blackballing Yeshe today, were aware of his actions without wanting to speak or address it and turned a blind eye, for fear of their own reputation. As finally the truth spilled out, it seems he has caused some harm to the congregation whereby some followers decided to leave the dharma, indicating they were not stable themselves or could not separate a good, just cause, from a mistake or a supposed rotten apple. If he did have some sexual encounters with women it seems to be due to a weakness/desire or the seeming beauty of a woman. He seems to have acquired some karma with them but the women did not question his actions in an honest way, but liked to believe something that possibly even suited their favor. It is maybe a big story but there are bigger and far worse misdeeds and lies in the world. I think the biggest problem is, when a projection gets thrown out by seeming truth, whereby a crushed projection leaves one not knowing how to handle it or fill the gap.

The so called misdeeds coincide with the extent of maliciousness and the number of people involved. Take the issue of Dorje Shugden and the thousands of people it has influenced, touched or separated. How heavy do things weigh ?

If Jesus said it is important to forgive, then where does forgiveness set in with buddhist teachings ? To forgive does not imply to forget or turn a blind eye, these things help us to look and discern more closely or exactly. If all people in or from the Dhagpo group cannot forgive and think they are perfect, I will deny them forgiveness for their own lies or misconceptions.

Yeshe Nyingpo never showed me disrespectful behavior but possibly because I am a man. Another lama of the Dhagpo group treated me like shit or a servant. I do not know if this has any bearing on you, but Yeshe never showed me any signs of ill will, power games, manipulation or malice.

To only talk of misdeeds without also appreciating a positive side, is like painting a one sided picture without leaving room or space for improvement. If you are a buddha yourself you might not need anything. If we are all on the way, I would like to see everyone making heartfelt and honest efforts to resolve the mess humans like to spread in this world.

Cleaning one’s own doorstep is so difficult as we find no mistakes, seeing faults in others is due to our own afflictions. Double standards everywhere.

I invite all people to clean up their own act before judging me. I will find your lies quicker than you see them yourselves. I am the full postulator before death and no one may pass my judgement.
Rid yourselves of your own negativity to rid yourselves of me. Humans have not even begun to attain or digest information, and the real discussions between humans have never taken place.

PS: Tibetan Buddhist affairs is a strange , diverse subject or matter. Why the empowerments, why the secrets ? Do they need them or do they instigate them ? Are they bound by oath or do they pretend to be bound by oath ? How do we check ? Are we allowed to check ? What happens if we find something not clear ? Is it due to our own unclarity or because the other wanted to be unclear or vague ?

I give all questions before death as this ensures a thought process one can or may do oneself, for oneself, without having to rely on a teacher. Basic human sense and logic, compassion or empathy are all inherently within us and if you ask all questions before death while understanding inherent buddha nature you might not need meditation.

Unfortunately many humans do not bother asking all questions before death. They are seemingly happy and content until impermanence hits them. It is a constant struggle whereby they constantly miss the point. I could not stop laughing at all the paradigms connected or making up the mind and it’s process, but it can be very amusing once one starts to look closely and does not need to believe possible trips others might have. Until we sit down or do not look properly we will always easily believe someone else, just because we thought it was easy and we could not get hurt.

If you have been hurt, maimed, lied to, robbed and discredited like me, then asking all questions before death is easy. The idea of not wanting be hurt again, propels oneself into the direction of ridding oneself of all misconceptions and half truths. If you commit suicide instead you will have missed the point and neglected your own inherent quality.

    I could not stop laughing…….

  9. Hehehehhhe…..as I said, I could not stop laughing.

Seemingly unfortunately I am too late, as my interest in writing seems to be too late, or the venue has taken place already. Maybe I can catch up to you afterwards, giving good questions to help for the seeming future.

Why did the Buddha study with all “masters” of his time, to still have doubts or see faults ?
Did he have reasonable doubts or was he unclear himself ?
What did he actually find and why did he find it himself, or in himself ?
Can one only find it in seclusion without distraction ?
Did he ask questions also or did he just experience the mind ?
Was the Buddha a non believing or mistrusting person ?
What kind of discernment did he practice or entertain ?

    Heheheheheh……. I could not stop laughing…….

To circumnavigate seeming sexual abuse there should be a separation between male and female sanghas. Monks and nuns should learn among themselves to avoid seeming sexual misconduct.
If however, a male teacher is gay he may abuse male students, if a female teacher is lesbian she may abuse women. Hehehehehe…this contradicts the seeming first example of avoiding these issues.

If teachers can out themselves they may warn or invite, others from/to seeming abuse. If students have the experience of abuse, they have an example of where to pay attention. If learning is a seeming private or individual matter, we cannot take or give away a learning process to others, as they are missing the inherent inner experience of suffering. Acceptance or rejection of ideas is so easily done, whereby only compassion or empathy may help to feel or learn things by other’s examples.

If no one is open in society, then we all have to be careful.
If people out themselves wanting/sharing honesty and clarity for others, then usually people like to abuse the openness, to turn on people being open. Humanity is a vicious circle of deceit , mistrust or maliciousness, whereby people like to twist and turn to make themselves feel good, while being stricken or possessing inner poverty or insecurity.

I break all boundaries or perspectives as ultimate tonglen is the ultimate antidote to ignorance or malice. Being human stands for many things. It stands for resoluteness, honesty, common courtesy and dignity. Three people have showed something. Buddha. Jesus. Mohammed. They tried to show humanity a mode of being which was supposed to be honest, but possibly they showed something, which modern man has neglected or found not fitting to modern times.

I like to pretend to being a gardener, as talking to humans can be in vain. Sometimes it seems useless, when people claim to understand, while not having understood at all. Many people get impatient, when I try to find out if they have really understood in all points, whereby missing patience is an indicator for me, that they have in fact not understood. Working in the garden is a wonderful thing. It is beneficial and natural. It makes more sense working in a garden than talking to people who like to lie to themselves or others.

I speak full logic and am always truthful. I need not spend time with deceitful people but it can be very exciting or revealing. They are not really filled with malice, just unclear about themselves and their surroundings. They usually claim their hunger and thirst to be experienced stronger than others hunger or thirst. Pure logic refutes this idea or notion, as we all seem to endure hunger and thirst in the same sense.

To share openly is the biggest antidote to all suffering, and while some people cannot share, others do not want to accept or receive gifts. I am in the middle, the middle man or the propagator of the middle path.

I am the full postulator before death, and it is a new way of describing an old path. We all (think to) need to be hip or go with the times or trends. Old names or ideas seem to be boring or not valid today. The old path is no use, if it is not understood in a fresh mind. The old path is maybe just the previous path or a path discovered in the past. Re-discovering the past path in the present is a wonderful thing. I am neither the Buddha, nor Jesus nor Muhammed. The mind seems to have been endless before and after death and a human form may practice , see or discover something.

If humans to not preserve the old path, nor take care of the natural balance in nature, both will be lost. I commend all Buddhist teachers for preserving the old path, but they have neglected nature. I commend all gardeners or farmers, but they have neglected the inner path. If a person is someone like Marpa, then he is an outstanding example of leadership or honesty, as working on the field and pertaining to inner work, go hand in hand.

Religious/spiritual people who do not work on the field or in the garden, have missed a point somewhere.

  10. Dear Friends

I do know Lama Yeshe Nyingpo, almost from the beginning he went first time to Dhagpo Center in France.
We had him as translator in our three year retreat in Germany.
I can not say if he is such an evil person like some do present him?
Yes, i did suffer from his skillful manipulation, as well from all manipulations of other translators and teachers in Kundreul Ling monastery.
I have forgive him since long time, same for others.
Although, I have present some aspects of the “Dhagpo Politic”in a web-page http://halscheid.webs.com which concerns me as well many of our previous three year retreat since decades.
We have to take into consideration that Yeshe Nyingpo was the top of the iceberg which is discussed nowadays among Karma Kagdyü members in France, the hidden neurotic part below is still kept unnoticed by the same people who point fingers to Yeshe Nyingpo here and elsewhere.
    Time for “Tabula Rasa”
