Bangkok event for meditation and dharma with American meditation teacher Rebecca Bradshaw – for mindfulness, and vipassana.

We’re happy to host Rebecca Bradshaw, who is a friend and fellow dharma teacher of Steven Smith and Michele McDonald (both of whom we have hosted several times). A veteran of the International Meditation Socitey’s 3 month retreats, she is one of a growing number of very experienced practitioners and teachers of meditation, and brings a fresh perspective to our experience in Thailand.

Schedule:
  • 6:30pm meet at Ariyasom for coffee and chat
  • 7:00pm Head up to the Dhamma Hall
  • 7-8:15pm Dhamma talk, meditation, Q&A
  • We’ll be finished before 8:30pm – so you can get away for dinner!

Rebecca Bradshaw is the Guiding Teacher of the Insight Meditation Center of Pioneer Valley in Easthampton ,Massachusetts. She completed her dharma teacher training at Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, where she is part of the three month retreat teacher team and leads retreats for teens and young adults. She also teaches at other locations in the United States and abroad, including Spanish language retreats. Rebecca has a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Her teaching explores the convergence of love and wisdom.

Ariyasom

Ariyasom Villa is a boutique hotel – a real oasis in the heart of Bangkok. It is at the end of Sukhumvit Soi One, not far from Ploen Chit BTS station.

Our session is free of charge, with donations (dana) to our visiting teacher.
