One day workshop

One day meditation workshop with Thai monk Phra Wimaok, in English language, Sukhumvit, Bangkok, Thailand. Free of charge, but please book your place:

Sunday 4th January

8:30 am – 5:30 pm

One day workshop with Thai monk Phra Vimoak

(pictured below in the middle)

Soi 1 Sukhumvit

Ajahn Vimoak is an experienced meditator who is able to think ‘outside the box’ somewhat when it comes to teaching, in order to use what Buddhism calls ‘skillfull means’. For example one of his tips for increasing mindfulness when doing walking meditation is to walk backwards – a handy method to intensify awareness on some of those long meditation afternoons on retreat. He also guides his own followers via internet in weekly Skype meetings (Skype is a kind of video conferencing if you did not know). Currently completing his Phd in Buddhist Studies that he took at the monks Mahacula University entirely in English, his language is quite sufficient for guiding meditation to foreigners (Pandit Bhikkhu will be attending too, to help out in this regard).

The program, including lunch and drinks, is entriely free of charge by generous donation of excellent  facilities from:
