‘THE SIMILE OF THE CLOTH’ : This was the actual teaching that the historical Buddha gave to describe the path of enlightenment – the path that got confused into a myriad of ‘paths’ and ‘teachings’ (both good and bad)
Come and discover the original enlightenment teaching, and how to apply it to your own meditation, in a humorous and informative evening.
In this simile the Buddha talked about what needs to be ‘purified’ and what is already enlightened! No more doubts!!

Everyone is welcome, from beginners to experienced meditators. We meet to support and encourage each other in our practice.
Baan Aree is a Thai Buddhist Center, please dress modestly.

As is usual with Buddhist teachings, there is no charge for this event. However, the Little Bangkok Sangha follows the Buddhist custom of Dana (generosity). The teachings and the venue are offered as an act of generosity, and those receiving them can, if they wish, support with a small donation. These go towards the teacher’s and venue’s costs. Boxes for Dana will be provided.
